學術委員會副主任,器官再生與智造全國重點實驗室副主任,北京幹細胞與再生醫學研究院副院長、學術委員會主任,國家自然科學基金委卓越研究群體項目首席科學家。
2002年畢業於北京大學醫學部,獲理學學士學位;2007年於中國科學院生物物理研究所獲得理學博士學位;2007-2012年先後在美國斯克利普斯研究所(The Scripps Research Institute)和索爾克生物學研究所(Salk Institute for Biological Studies)從事博士後(Research Associate)研究;2012年加入中國科學院生物物理研究所,任研究員(PI);2019年至今任必威精装版app西汉姆联

研究領域:
1. 人類衰老的遺傳和表觀遺傳信息解碼
結合靈長類動物模型、人幹細胞、基因編輯、全基因組篩選、多組學分析及人工智能,研究人類衰老和老年疾病的遺傳和表觀遺傳學基礎,探索延緩衰老(如腦衰老和心血管衰老)和防治老年疾病(如神經退行性疾病和動脈粥樣硬化症)的方法和手段,以期實現健康老齡化(healthy aging)的目標。
2. 基於幹細胞技術的人類疾病機理研究和精準治療
利用患者誘導性多能幹細胞(iPSC)和體外創建的疾病胚胎幹細胞(ESC),結合細胞、類器官定向分化和移植技術,在功能基因組水平研究人類疾病的分子機理及新型靶標;發展基於幹細胞技術的藥物篩選和評價體係;研發針對器官衰老和特定疾病靶標的候選藥物(化合物);推動幹細胞和衰老相關技術的臨床轉化。
3. 新型基因編輯手段和基因治療技術的發展和應用
以HDAdV、telHDAdV、TTALE和CRISPR/Cas9為基礎,發展安全高效地編輯人類基因組的新方法,開發以去衰老和促再生為目標的幹細胞和基因治療新策略,為罕見疾病的基因修複、人類幹細胞的遺傳增強、以及衰老相關疾病的幹預提供科學依據。
